Terms of use.
The short version: it's your journal, Apple handles payment, and you can leave whenever you like.
The license
My Life in Color is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms are between you and IndieDeveloperJ LLC ("we", "us"), the Arizona company that makes the app. They add a few details about Color+ and are part of that agreement. If they ever conflict, the standard EULA wins.
Color+
- Color+ is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a plan includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If Color+ ends, nothing you made is taken away. Logging a color is never blocked.
Your content
What you write and pick in the app is yours. It stays on your devices (see the privacy policy), so please keep your own backups; the app's export helps with that. We can't recover a journal we never had.
No medical advice
My Life in Color is a journal, not a medical or mental health service. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a professional. In the US, you can call or text 988.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed.
